Carolyn Charpie ’08 is performing the role of “Melissa” in the SpeakEasy Stage Company’s production of “The Savannah Disputation” at the Boston Center for Arts from now through October 17. Carolyn performed in numerous University Theater productions, including Urinetown, Book of Days, Rocky Horror, Marisol, and Metamorphoses, and now teaches drama in the Boston Public Schools. The show is directed by another BC alum – the 2007 Arts Council Alumni Award recipient, Paul Daigneault ’87 – a two-time Eliot Norton Award winner. This is the first of three shows Mr. Daigneault will direct this season at the award-winning SpeakEasy Stage Company in Boston, a theater which he founded in the early 1990s.
